Although it is not required, we recommend obtaining it if you plan to continue exporting in the future, as it is a code linked to customs information.

If you are exporting a vehicle, you will need to go to the Land Transport Bureau and have your vehicle inspection certificate cancelled for export. This procedure does not apply to whether or not the vehicle has an inspection certificate.

Each country has its own rules and processes regarding import regulations and application rules, and the contents of these are constantly changing, so Japan cannot follow them 100%. Please check the import permits in your import country in advance and complete the procedures.
