When a vehicle with a recycling fee deposited is taken overseas (exported), the owner of the vehicle can get the recycling fee back by following the prescribed procedures. Are you missing out on the amount you can get back? If you use our service, you will not miss out on the troublesome application procedures.
Relationship between scheduled export date, deregistration, and month of return
The information required for the return of the recycling fee, such as deregistration information, is usually received from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) approximately one month (31-32 days) after the "scheduled export date" set when obtaining the export notification certificate, etc. The information is then returned on the 25th of the following month (or the previous business day if the date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or national holiday).
If the "scheduled export date" is set at the end of the month, the information on deregistration, etc., may not be received in the month following the "scheduled export date" and the month of return may be delayed. Therefore, the Japan Automobile Recycling Promotion Center recommends that the "scheduled export date" be around the 25th.
If you set the "Scheduled Export Date" a few days earlier than the end of the month, around the 25th, the month following the "Scheduled Export Date" will be the month in which you receive the information for deregistration.
important point
・In some cases, we may not be able to receive the deregistration due to the status of export license procedures.(Example. (e.g., if the product has been approved for export as a "part")
・In the following cases, we may decide not to return the vehicle even if the application has been received.
1.If the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) does not provide the export
cancellation registration after 12 months from the date of application.
2. in the case of an application based on the vehicle owner's power of attorney, if there is any doubt about
the fact of the power of attorney
3.In any other case where it is found that the contents of the application differ from the facts.
