Used Car Import Regulations in Cyprus
Cyprus accepts only right-hand drive vehicles, limited to used cars less than 5 years from manufacture. Gasoline cars must meet Euro 5 and diesel cars Euro 6 emission standards.

Import Eligibility
Age limit: only used cars less than 5 years from manufacture can be imported into Cyprus.

Import Duties & Taxes
Import duty: 10–22% of CIF (cost, insurance and freight).
VAT: 19% on the total of CIF value, import duty and excise duty.

Steering (RHD/LHD) Rules
Import of left-hand drive vehicles is prohibited. Only right-hand drive vehicles are permitted.
